A More Perfect Union: Japanese Americans and the U.S. Constitution
This online exhibition, focusing on the notorious internment camps of World War II, shows the unfortunately commonly shared Japanese American experience during the mid 1900’s. The National Museum of American History site features an auditory introduction by John Chancellor. The interactive galleries incorporate first-hand narratives and hundreds of audio, textual and photographic artifacts. Spanning the entire war, including pre- and post-war life, the main categories include Immigration, Removal, Internment, Loyalty, Service and Justice.
