Where can I view art pieces and artifacts from the Jim Crow era in the South?
At the Tubman African American Museum in Macon, Ga., you can look at artwork and objects from the times of slavery and segregation in the South, as well as from different African cultures. From a "marker," an indicator of plantation boundaries, to a spirit jug to help remember the deceased, to an African Baule wooden sculpture, the museum houses many interesting and unusual pieces.
